Floyd McCay makes a great case for Bush. I guess if leadership is getting your opponents to march to your tune when they hate the march, then Bush wins in spades. Poor Kerry. He is stumbling along behind the pack, hoping someone will notice him, feel sorry, and make him the leader of the game. He is like the little boy who holds up his scratched finger, hoping the big boys will notice, while the game goes on all around him.

McCay denigrates those true war heroes who question Kerry's scratches and purple hearts. I think it is more honorable to join the National Guard than to fake injuries to get three purple hearts so as to get out of the service. But that is tolerable. What is not tolerable are the Kerry and Fonda lies that fueled the hate that some Americans had for Viet Nam veterans. I have a neighbor who remembers as a little girl walking down the street with her uniformed daddy, newly home from Viet Nam after 13 months of service, and having people yell "baby killer," "m***** f*****" and other delicacies. Yea, they really loved the children, and Kerry really loved America, and possums are good food. That war was lost on the streets of America, not in the jungles of Viet Nam. Kerry and Fonda were propagandists responsible for raising the spirits of communist gangsters to keep fighting for a cause that was already being lost on the world stage, but would survive for a time as a worm eating through the carcasses of the people of Vietnam. A great deal of blood is on the hands of John Kerry, and trotting out a few questionable medals will not wash it away. Because of the treason of Kerry and Fonda, we lost the war in Viet Nam, but we won the Cold War because of "devious purposes," "strutting self-assurance," and by making Gorby a victim. Not bad.

But guys like McCay have not repented and cleansed their souls, so they try to prop up a hollow man like Kerry to try to find some cover for their own empty souls. They were bums in the sixties and seventies, and they are still bums now, flaying away at their old ghosts: EVIL corporations, EVIL rich people, EVIL republicans, EVIL America, EVIL white people, EVIL males. They have no joy, no zest for life, wrapped in their own bitterness and contempt. How they must have cringed when they heard Arnold credit his conversion to Americanism to Richard Nixon. Can you hear the wail of Cain, "My punishment is more than I can bear."

It is a shame when the price for telling the truth and acting on principle is labeled "devious purpose," "strutting self-assurance," and victimization. On the other hand, that has always been the price for telling the truth, hasn't it? Maybe that is why you hear so little of it. Reporters and Editors are not paid for telling the truth; they are paid for false witness and lying spin. Journalism is a fancy word for breaking the 9th Commandment. That's why so many journalists are liberals. They have a natural affinity for lying and deceit. Some are paid to lie and others are paid to teach others to lie.

But what can you expect from the Seattle Media? Seattle gave us girly men coffee, if I remember. Going further back, Seattle was built and gained riches through the raping of Alaska. Hmmmm. Should they give it back? the money, I mean. There's a topic for some journalist who wants to tell the truth. But then, there are more rewards, positions, honors, and advancement for lying for the right people. If you are really good at it, you will get a Pulitzer.

A thoughtful article on our election by Canadian David Warren. Following is my letter to him:

Dear David Warren,
Thank you for your thoughtful article on our election. I think that most Republicans in this country know and accept the uniqueness of America--some faint vestige of the "Light on the Hill" concept of our Puritan forebears. The modern concept, though, would be as startling to those forebears as the present "post-Christian" culture would be repugnant to them There is no one today who could create a United States of America, even in the United States.

Our Democratic citizens, even if they had ever heard of the "Light on the Hill" would not be prone to accept the concept or treat it with sympathy. In the present drabness of ordinariness, the Democratic party is much too concerned with narcissicism to ever think of converting anybody to anything except their own brand of selp-absorption. They are obsessed with acceptance, not conversion. They believe nothing but cultural and moral agnosticism. They only want to be secure in their conceived right to freely fornicate and to destroy the results. Nothing else really matters, don't you know.

You got one thing wrong, though, I think. No Republcan would ever conquer and enslave Canada. That belongs to the Democratic party that still hold millions of our citizens in bondage on the plantations of multi-culturalism and affirmative action. These are those who are content to walk zombie-like into voting booths to vote the straight party line, if they can figure out how to punch the ballot or use the touch scrreen. Senator Kerry is afraid that Republican hackers will corrupt the voting machines in Florida; no Democrat on the intellectual plantations described above could ever figure out how to do that! Our democrats might be interested in delivering from your intellectual plantations,but only if you would be content to live on theirs. They despise all capital, intellectual as well as economic.

But no-one is right about every thing. What is strange is the intellectual naivety of those who honestly thought that Senator Kerry could run as a patriot in light of his Viet Nam tour. Amazing!

Isn't it interesting? The word is out that if Bush wins Florida this election, the results will be suspect, because Kerry has led in the polls, that there are security flaws in the voting machines that will allow hackers to change the results.

This is just setting the stage for more hand-wringing and hate-mongering like the last election. This paves the way for a descent on Florida the day after the election by swarms of trial lawyers, Edward's buddies, to really try to steal the election.

But there is a hidden assumption here: Republicans are more computer savvy than Democrats. Just like in the last election, it was the Democrats who were too stupid to use the ballots, so they will not be able to compete in this election with the smart and evil Republican hackers.

Maybe the world has changed. Mayor Daly used to steal Illinois on a regular basis. ['How many votes do we have in Chicago? How many do you need?"] But that was by old fashioned ward-heeling and intimidation. Lyndon Johnson and the Rayburn machine stole Texas for JFK in 1960.

But the opinion of this writer is this: the election won't be that close. I guess that Bush will get in the neighborhood of 325 electoral votes. He is even in striking distance of California.

One of the first rules of propaganda is this: Don't believe your own lies. The Democrats have disregarded this rule to their own destruction in this campaign. They have hysterically maintained since the last election that Bush is stupid, a hypocrite, evil, and probably has bad breath. He isn't, of course, but they believe it. Thus, they constantly underestimate and misunderstand him. He might not be a master politician, but he is no slouch, and he is running circles around them in this campaign, in spite of the millions spent on attack ads by the supporters of John Kerry [without coordination from the campaign, which would be illegal, and Democrats always obey the law, donchknow.] Besides, we have campaign reform and there is no money in politics anymore.

Time to read this article and get it out to all your friends. The alternatives are not total war or surrender. The idea is containment, not appeasement. We can win the war of attrition. We learned that during the cold war. Freedom will always outproduce and out gun slavery, whether it is religious or economic or social slavery. The building of real alliances with people who have a desire to resist Islam and who have the military wherewithal to do so [rather than the paper tigers and impotent sad sacks of France, Germany,and Russia]. Nato should go if it does not awaken to the new realities. Emergent nations like Poland and a remilitarized Japan would serve well in this new war. It must be won if we do not want our women behind the veil, our churches closed, and prayers five times a day toward Mecca.

We need to resist all unnecessary curtailment of our liberties as a free people, including whether or not this or that ad can play. Free people can sort out who the fools and liars are if they have the information.

How strange and out-of-sync are liberals and the rag called the Washington Post. If something is wrong it is America's fault. Not Kerry, who defamed, slandered, and betrayed his comrades; opposed the Viet Nam War, and now is trying run on his record as a war hero.

To me it is a no-brainer. Senator Kerry served four months in Vietnam. I do not care which account of his service is true. But this is true:

At the Democratic National Convention his service in Vietnam was made the centerpiece of his qualifications for President. He "reported for duty," to come to his nations defense again.

What he was counting on, was that the majority of people who grew up or were born after the Vietnam war do not know their history. [How could they? They went to public school.] He hoped that the old guys wouldn't remember. But he was wrong.

We remember how he came back and knifed the military. We know that he made alliances with Jane Fonda and the other extreme leftists to smear the Vietnam warriors. It was largely do to John Kerry that returning Vietnam veterans were called "baby killers" or worse. They haven't forgotten, and we haven't forgotten.

Only in a post-modern world would the ploy have a sucker's chance of working. John Kerry wants to be honored and made President of these whole United States because of his honorable and brave service in Vietnam, but he have spent your whole life smearing and dishonoring the other soldiers who fought there. It is not surprising that a great many of those who served honorably there have come forward to say, "Wait a minute. Will you serve and defend the United States as President the same way your served us in the aftermath of your tour of duty?"

John Kerry is honored in Hanoi as a Vietnam hero in their struggle against the United States and his picture hangs on the wall there, for betraying his country and serving the cause of our enemies. Will John Kerry's picture some day hang in mosques throughout the world because of his defense of the United States against terrorism? I am sorry, but this is one American who has a long memory. I will not be taking that chance.

These guys continue to get it wrong, and I think they do it deliberately. Bush and the American people never said the threat was "imminent." By the time a madman like Hussein gets and atomic bomb and the treat becomes imminent, it is too late.

The threat in Kosovo was not "imminent." In 1941 the threat from Germany was not "imminent." I guess this is what Kerry means by being "sensitive." "Sensitive war" means speaking harshly and kerrying no stick.

Isn't this something? Figure the logic in this. We put people in positions of trust over our tax money and the educational policies that form the world view of our children. We pay them good salaries. The people we choose are vocal in their belief that there is no religious truth and no moral truth. They are up front about it. Then we place our children and our money in their trust. That really makes sense. The fox says to the goose, "I really like to eat a goose for dinner. I enjoy it a great deal, and I will eat you if you come with me. Why don't you go down this path with me. I am trustworthy."

We can excuse the goose for going down the path because, after all, he is a goose. Why do people do it?

Liberals make no bones about their world view. Why do sane people elect them to office anyway, unless they are as silly as geese? Do we really hate God that much?

These women don't vote in proportion to other women. They are enormously concerned about their financial freedom. Many of them refuse to take on the responsibilites of home and marriage, and refuse the traditional Christian obligation to love husbands and children. Although there are many reasons in individual cases why this is so, the over riding reason that America's women are at risk, is because of the rejection of traditional Christian roles in marriage.

It is well known in high places that easy divorce laws are a disaster for the common person, and truly benefit only rich men. Rich men who make our laws want easy divorce so they can dump their aging spouses and get something snappier and younger.

But the reality is, that there is a large number of single women who by nature need to be taken care of by husbands and responsible men in their lives [Ok, you radical femlibs, let me have it, but it is the truth.] If this was not their nature they would be conservatives and not looking to government for welfare, minimum wages, etc. They would truly be able to take care of themselves. The godly woman in such a case, without a man in her life through the providence of God, finds the support she needs in the eldership of the church, who is responsible to care for those who are widows indeed.

The ungodly woman abandons her husband and her babies and flees to the state, the true god of all the ungodly. She expects the state to take care of her and meet all her needs, or the needs of her babies if she is no so wicked as to abandon them also.

These women ARE potentially more important politically than NASCAR dads. That's the shame of it.

My wife and I went to the polls yesterday in Colorado's primary. As we left, my wife said, "I never vote for a woman for anything. They just want to take care of everybody." Ain't it the truth. A woman out of office wants someone to take care of her. A woman in office wants to take care of others. Either way, the result is dangerous for the state.

Men need to be taught that they have a responsibility to marry, establish families, and take care of them. A man who does not do this has denied the faith of Christ and is worse than an infidel. Women need to be taught that they have a duty to marry, keep the family, honor their husbands and live in godly fear, in quietness and peace. The ungodly man dumps his wife and children on the state and taxpayer; the ungodly woman refuses to honor and obey her husband, and then looks to the state for support. Instead they tried to deprive servicemen of their vote, and were able to persuade the partisan Florida Supreme Court to overturn the election.

No evidence was found at that time for voter fraud, and none has been found since then, although no election has been so thoroughly scrutinized by non-parisan and liberal groups and news agencies. Time after time, the conclusion has been the same. Bush won fairly in 2004.

But the liars continue to lie. The crooks continue to cheat. Al Gore came within an eyelash of doing for the election process what his boss Bill Clinton did for the legal system.

This is the reason for the hatred on the left for George W. Bush. He is one tough nut. Weasels hate such people, for they expose duplicity and deceit and corruption just by showing up.

I don't always agree with the policies of Bush, but I do think that he is an honest and straightforward man. Such are few enough in America today, and we ought not to ruin the ones we have.

Clinton and Gore are true Sixties men. Only a few survived the corruption of the sexual and religious and social revolution of that generation. So many were corrupted in morals and mind, so that they couldn't recognize the truth if it hit them in the head. There have always been such men, ruthless in their desires to get their way and for whom truth was an obstacle to be sacrificed if necessary. But no generation in America could be so justly named that sort of generation.

If the truth does come along, the reaction is to invent talking points and hire crooked lawyers to make it go away in the minds of the people. The only thing these people truly believe is in their own goodness and the purity of their desires, no matter how corrupt those desires are. Those who get in the way of their desires must be destroyed.

They are like a troubled sea that cannot rest, pouring out dirt and grime.

The poisoning lies directly at the doorstep of Al Gore, who, after conceding the election to Bush earlier on election night, came to the conclusion that lawyers might be able to change the results of the election by making the charges that are now circulating.

There was no evidence then, and there is no evidence now. But Gore wanted to be president so badly that he was willing to dump a load of crap on Bush and the Republicans on the outside chance that he could pull it off. He came within an eyelash of making it work. He did for the electoral process what Clinton did for the legal climate in America. Nixon was a piker compared to these guys.

These guys are shameless. We didn't rush--how many UN resolutions were there? Without allies? You mean without the French and Germans. We had a coalition of thirty-some nations, was it? There was a plan for the aftermath and it is working relatively well, if the rebels were not constantly encouraged by the traitors at home. But the Democrats are still hoping for disaster in Iraq, because they are willing for America to endure anything, so long as Democrats are returned to power. But it won't happen.

And yes, the war was justified, no matter what reputed false information and blunders. These guys remind me of the ultra right wing after WWII, who continued to accuse FDR and Truman of being traitors, leading us into an unjustified war against Hitler, who wasn't really all that terrible. You still hear those who say that Hitler did not kill Jews, and if he did, it was probably justified. Now the conspiracy talk is coming from the far left, but the Jew still gets it in the neck. Did you hear that Jews are fleeing from France? They are, you know.

They have gone insane. I mean the New York Times. Freedom means that a person has a right to express their opinion, and I have a right to boo, to walk out, to demand my money back. Audiences are not sheep that must sit and listen to whatever the elite Hollywood and New York snobs dish out.

And yes, the man who runs the hotel can fire the "artist." That's freedom. A kind of freedom that the snobs who run the New York Times hate. They want freedom for the elite, the ones who know what's best for the rest of us. FYI. The very last thing we need in America is the revival of ugly anti-semitism, and the joining the side of the Islamists. This writer does not believe that there is salvation in Judaism any more than there is in Islam, because Christ is the only savior of mankind.

But isn't it interesting that the Presbyterian [USA], who long ago rejected their heritage of biblical calvinism, would not be able to discern between Israel and Islamists. If the church does not like to retain God in their knowledge, they will some become like the heathen, not able to discern anything. If all religions are the same, then none of them can commit crimes. If people can write love letters to the babies they are about to abort and feel good about their feelings of sentimentality, then why not turn all evil into good and abandon all attempts to understand what the image of God is.

I Am Thankful for the Electoral College

This election and the last one show the wisdom of our nations fathers and founders, especially in the invention of the electoral college.   There is more polarization between the large populations states and the small states than there has been in recent memory.  Kerry's lead in states like New York and California is huge, while Bush seems secure in such states as Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Tennessee.

Why not just count the votes and award the election to the one who gets the most votes?  Because this gives an overwhelming advantage to the large populations states.  Suppose 10 million people vote in New York, and Kerry wins by, say, 6 million to 4 million.  He wins by 2 million votes.  In Colorado Bush wins by 350,000 to 200,000, a margin of 150,000.  Likewise Bush wins by 15,000 in Wyoming, 180,000 in Nebraska, and 250,000 in Tennesee.  The 2,000,000 Kerry margin in New York overwhelms the Bush margin of 595,000 in the four other states.

I saw four Kerry ads on TV last night in a space of about 20 minutes.  Do you think that Colorado would ever see ads for the candidates, let alone see the candidates themselves, if the election would be decided simply by the popular vote?  No way.

Kerry would be ahead 1, 405,000 votes in these five states, but only lead in electoral votes 31-28.  There is no question that the power of the Democratic Party is in the populous states of the Industrial midwest and the East and West coasts.   If the presidential election were to be decided by popular votes, it would only pay to campaign in about 10-15 of the largest states, and ignore the rest of the country.  There would be a huge shift of power to the Democratic party.

The electoral college was designed to safeguard federalism, rather than the rule of the mob.  The college was greatly weakened when the election of senators was removed from the state legislators and placed in popular votes statewide, but it still admirably fulfills its designed function: that every state, large and small, be represented in some way in the presidency.  Every state gets to be heard.  It is a good thing.

 

Wilson's Lies Exposed!! But will the Media retract the slander of President Bush?

OpinionJournal - Featured Article: "Mr. Wilson's defense, in essence, is that the 'Republican-written' Senate Intelligence Committee report is a partisan hatchet job. We could forgive people for being taken in by this, considering the way the Committee's ranking Democrat, Jay Rockefeller, has been spinning it over the past week. But the fact is that the three most damning conclusions are contained not in Chairman Pat Roberts's 'Additional Views,' but in the main body of the report approved by Mr. Rockefeller and seven other Democrats.

Number one: The winner of last year's Award for Truth Telling from the Nation magazine foundation, didn't tell the truth when he wrote that his wife, CIA officer Valerie Plame, 'had nothing to do with' his selection for the Niger mission. Mr. Wilson is now pretending there is some kind of important distinction between whether she 'recommended' or 'proposed' him for the trip.
Mr. Wilson had been denying any involvement at all on Ms. Plame's part, in order to suggest that her identity was disclosed by a still-unknown Administration official out of pure malice. If instead an Administration official cited nepotism truthfully in order to explain the oddity of Mr. Wilson's selection for the Niger mission, then there was no underlying crime. Motive is crucial under the controlling statute.
The 1982 Intelligence Identities Protection Act was written in the wake of the Philip Agee scandal to protect the CIA from deliberate subversion, not to protect the identities of agents and their spouses who choose to enter into a national political debate. In short, the entire leak probe now looks like a familiar Beltway case of criminalizing political differences. Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald should fold up his tent.

Number two: Joe Wilson didn't tell the truth about how he supposedly came to realize that it was "highly doubtful" there was anything to the story he'd been sent to Niger to investigate. He told everyone that he'd recognized as obvious forgeries the documents purporting to show an Iraq-Niger uranium deal. But the forged documents to which he referred didn't reach U.S. intelligence until eight months after his trip. Mr. Wilson has said that he "misspoke"--multiple times, apparently--on this issue.

Number three: Joe Wilson was also not telling the truth when he said that his final report to the CIA had "debunked" the Niger story. The Senate Intelligence report--again, the bipartisan portion of it--says Mr. Wilson's debrief was interpreted as providing "some confirmation of foreign government service reporting" that Iraq had sought uranium in Niger. That's because Niger's former Prime Minister had told Mr. Wilson he interpreted a 1999 visit from an Iraqi trade delegation as showing an interest in uranium.

This is a remarkable record of falsehood. We'll let our readers judge if they think Mr. Wilson was deliberately wrong, and therefore can be said to have "lied." We certainly know what critics would say if President Bush had been caught saying such things. But in any event, we'd think that the news outlets that broadcast Mr. Wilson's story over the past year would want to retrace their own missteps.

Mr. Wilson made three separate appearances on NBC's "Meet the Press," according to the Weekly Standard. New York Times columnist Nick Kristof first brought the still anonymous Niger envoy to public attention in May 2003, so he too must feel burned by his source. Alone among major sellers of the Wilson story, the Washington Post has done an admirable job so far of correcting the record.
