A vehicle for venting on philosophy, religion, and the general state of things. Proprietor: C. W. Powell

This is a most sober and challenging article from the Wall Street Journal. While the intelligencia in the West have been chasing the empty dream of multi-culturalism and moral relativisim, the enemies of morality and Christianity and freedom have been pursuing a very different dream. The question is this, in my view. Does the United States have the moral character to do what has to be done? There is no question that we have the material force to prevail, but do we have the moral character for the long haul? I think we do, but there may be a sifting out process first. But don't bet against Christianity. Not with Christ on the throne of glory. Click on the next link to read the whole story.

OpinionJournal - Extra: "Whatever the constraints on our resources, the challenge is unmistakable and cannot be dodged. The price of action is likely to be high, very high; the price of inaction is likely to be much higher. Courtesy of Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda, we have already had to relearn the lesson of Pearl Harbor in a second and more terrible form. In the age of terrorism and nuclear weapons, we cannot afford to relearn it a third time and a fourth."
