Maybe its the influence of all the French in Canada. David Frum's Diary on National Review Online: "Canadians are gentler, more compassionate, and all around nicer than Americans, and if the Canadian economy malfunctions and young people flee the country, that is the price of Canada's superior virtue - and Canadians are happy to pay it."
