This isn't rocket science. The root of all evil truly is money, especially in politics. People talk about how money is the mother's milk of politics. Well, it's the devil's brew. And what we've got to do, we've got to turn off the tap.'"

If you are going to quote the Bible, you should at least quote it right. There is no verse in the Bible that says, "Money is the root of all evil." What the Bible says is, "The love of money is the root of all evil" [1Timothy 6:10]. But I guess Earle reads the Bible the way he makes indictments: pick and choose and follow your political agenda. (sigh)
