The Facts Show Increase of Jobs Under Bush: "Not only has there been no net loss of jobs during the Bush administration, there has been a net gain, even with the devastation of 9/11. At least 2.4 million jobs have been created since the president took office, 2 million of those in 2003. The gains more than offset the losses."

Five Reasons not to see the Passion"Billy Graham in his endorsement of The Passion of Christ said, 'Every time I preach or speak about the Cross, the things I saw on the screen will be on my heart and mind.'13 This is unfortunately part of the problem with all visual representations of Jesus. Although we may intend for them only to have a role in teaching, they inevitably become part of our worship and adoration. "

The true people of God need to go to this site in order to read a reasoned critique of this film by a PCA pastor. We thank God for the good that is done by the telling of the story of Jesus Christ, but we deplore the theology of the Roman Church and the piety of the Roman Church, which exchanges the physical sufferings of Christ and the physical transubstanciation of the mass for the offering of Jesus Christ to His Father--a sacrifice of His soul to the justice of God to take away sins, sins which are not rooted in our being physical, but rooted in our souls and spirits.

American Family Association - AgapePress news: "Donnelly goes on to explain that the U.S. military's current policy and practice would likely be threatened if homosexual marriage gained legitimate status and recognition under the law. She says that situation could 'set up a legal challenge -- one that would go to the heart of what Congress did in 1993 in passing a law that excluded gays from the military.'"
FOXNews.com - Foxlife - Stern: 'They Are So Afraid of Me': "'They are so afraid of me and what this show represents,' Stern said Thursday during his popular radio program, which is still airing in many cities. "
-----
Why, oh, why. Why are people so egotistical that they think that people who disagree with them are afraid of them. Now we will have a new phobia, Sternophobia, to go along with homophobia and other pop-psychology disorders. We are not afraid of you, Mr. Stern, we just find you disgusting. If I find a slug in my basement, it does not inspire fear, but disgust. Neither are we afraid of sodomites. We oppose sodomite marriage because it is immoral, disgusting, and wicked. It isn't fear of sodomy that drives us; it is the fear of God.

FOXNews.com - You Decide 2004 - Dems Slam Bush Over Gay-Marriage Ban: "'By endorsing this shameful effort to write discrimination back into the Constitution, President Bush has betrayed his campaign promise to be 'a uniter, not a divider,'' Sen. Ted Kennedy (search) of Massachusetts said on the Senate floor. "
-----
It is sodomy that is shameful, Sen. Kennedy. To you and your crowd uniting means to surrender to your corrupt and corrupting agenda. Every black American ought to repudiate the Democratic Party and especially Chappaquiddick Kennedy for equating the rights of Black Americans with Sodomy. Where are the Black Christian leaders on this?
My point: David M. Shribman / The battle is joined: "The president's handlers knew exactly what he was planning to do, and took special pains to make sure no one missed it. Recognizing that the State of the Union Address was a snooze and the 'Meet the Press' interview a stumble, they wanted the word out: The campaign is now in full throttle and the White House is not going to be a conscientious objector to combat"
----
This is not your father's Bush.
The Village Voice: Features: When John Kerry's Courage Went M.I.A. by Sydney H. Schanberg: "enator John Kerry, a decorated battle veteran, was courageous as a navy lieutenant in the Vietnam War. But he was not so courageous more than two decades later, when he covered up voluminous evidence that a significant number of live American prisoners-perhaps hundreds-were never acknowledged or returned after the war-ending treaty was signed in January 1973.
The Massachusetts senator, now seeking the presidency, carried out this subterfuge a little over a decade ago- shredding documents, suppressing testimony, and sanitizing the committee's final report-when he was chairman of the Senate Select Committee on P.O.W./ M.I.A. Affairs. "
----
Of course. How could the darling of the Anti-War movement ever admit that there were real heroes, who continued to be heroes and didn't give in to the Marches of the American Chickens.
Wheat and Chaff: "If truth exists, and God cannot lie, then for every question you can ask about God there is one correct answer. This is true if the question is phrased properly, and is not ambiguous of itself. But if you ask, Is there a God? There is only one correct answer to that question. If you ask, is God good? Again, there is only one correct answer. If you say that God is good, and that God is not good, then you've contradicted yourself, and you've accused God of lying. Therefore, there must be a whole collection of interrelated truths about God. All of these truths together are a system of truth."
---
Great stuff on Matt's site. Go there often.
Gary Aldrich: Kerrys FBI File: "Every significant leader of any anti-war, anti-US protest from the 1960's has a large file sitting in a file drawer over at the FBI Headquarters. "
-----
Senator Kerry ought to release his file to the people. After all, Bush released his dental records. Senator Kerry ought to know where to find his FBI file. Hilary has them.
DRUDGE REPORT 2004

It seems as if "Voting is for Old People" T-Shirts are all the rage among the youth of America. Sounds good to me. I would raise the age to 40 and make it necessary to own property. That way the dependent could not vote to raise taxes. It would also keep twenty-something school teachers out of the booths.
NewsMax.com: Liners Archive: "You know, you gotta love California. This is the only state where you can marry your gay lover, take a hit from a bong of medical marijuana, be a celebrity who shoots his wife and not get in any legal trouble at all until you step outside and try to light up a cigarette. " --Jay Leno
NewsMax.com: Liners Archive: "Operation Desert Storm began on this date in 1991. You remember Desert Storm. That was the popular war against Iraq that left Saddam Hussein in power and was considered a success. As opposed to the recent unpopular war against Iraq, which removed Hussein from power, freed the Iraqis and is considered a complete failure. " --Jay Leno
Philadelphia Inquirer | 02/25/2004 | 'Marriage amendment' a threat to Constitution: "The 'marriage amendment,' which defines marriage as an arrangement between one man and one woman and which President Bush is set to endorse in the face of legalized gay marriage in Massachusetts and San Francisco, asserts sweeping state power over the conduct of the intimate lives of all of us, gay or straight."
----------
Be prepared for this bogus line of argument. Privacy? Come on, do you think we are idiots? Sodomy and other perversions that defile the tongue that speaks them have been crammed down the collective throats of conservative Christians for more than a generation. The libs and their ilks and their paid liars in the press told us a generation ago that all the "gays" wanted was toleration, and "decrimilization." "It would never be taught in the schools, nor sodomites hired to be teachers." They lied then, and they are lying now.

But what do you expect from the sodomite lobby. When a man or woman have corrupted the very nature of their body and their soul, what can they do but lie. Their whole life is a lie. If a man pretends to be a woman and pretends that another man is a woman what truth is in him? If the starting place is a fraud, then the whole life is a fraud.

And that's the truth
Mercury News: Bay Area news, technology, jobs, cars & real estate: "She added that her husband would vote against such an amendment if it were introduced in the Senate, and that while he supports same-sex civil unions, Kerry believes defining marriage should be a question left to the states."
-----
Senator--would/be--President--Kerry is no fool. He knows that leaving the definition of marriage to the states means leaving it to Massachusetts or California. He knows that the US Constitution requires that the actions in one state must be recognized in every other state--what is known as the full faith and credit provision of the U. S. Constitution.

So now that we have it confirmed that Senator Kerry is a liar, do we want him as President? Come out and be honest, Senator Kerry, if you still know how.

By the way, he and his cronies wouldn't believe that the states should define slavery or its legality, would they? Or would they?

Peter Wood on Diversity & Colorado University on National Review Online: "At the very least, however, the CU football scandal demonstrates how ethically shallow the diversity doctrine really is. The 'respect' for other people it fosters on campus stops with the officially recognized identity groups. Funding for identity politics at CU is exceptionally generous, and everyone knows how to play the grievance game. But as for a more encompassing sense of treating other people decently, well that's just not what the exquisite pseudo-ethics of diversity are all about.
Is there a lesson beyond the sleepy complacency of the CU Boulder administrators who were too busy refining the diversity message to notice what else was going on their campus? I suggest this: that legislators who want state college and university sports to be genuinely character building had better be prepared to look past the clichs and platitudes of campus administrators who try to calm every worry with the vacuous answer that they stand for the highest ethical standards and diversity. Nobody can stand for both. "

Ain't it the truth.
FOXNews.com - Politics - Bush Backs Amendment Barring Gay Marriage: "'He has always strongly believed that marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman,' White House press secretary Scott McClellan said. "
---
President Bush has just finished his press conference. Hurrah! Hurrah! This is the best solution and it cannot be avoided. Now let Kerry step up. But he can't because he is bought and paid for.

The media, of course, will say that Bush is just seeking a political advantage, because they cannot understand why anyone would do something because they believe it. Of course, the media is bought and paid for by the educational establishment and the Hollywood sex entertainment industy.

Sex is not love, nor necessarily an expression of love. One of the modern problems is that we resist definition. The Bible defines love as a keeping of the commndments of God [I John 5:1ff], so no homosexual union is based on love. Feeling is not love, and sex is not love. Love is the determined purpose, the result of the work of the Holy Spirit, to live according to the commandments of God. This does not purchase salvation, but is the result of salvation. Those who are lost in sin cannot understand that, but this doesn't mean that the saints need to abandon the light because some walk in darkness.
New York Post Online Edition: business: "Blair and his publisher, New Millennium Press, could not be reached at presstime. New Millennium, a controversial Hollywood-based publisher that went into bankruptcy after losing a lawsuit last year, forked over what is believed to be $250,000 for the book. "
----
It is not enough that Blair damaged his former employer, but now he must kick them again. But then, some might say that the New York Times deserves whatever they get. I wouldn't say that, you know; but some might.

Softball at CNN - The Washington Times: Editorials/OP-ED: " On April 23, 1971, before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Mr. Kerry accused U.S. soldiers of war crimes. He recounted that his brothers in arms 'raped ... randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan ... and generally ravaged the countryside.'
The press has not pressed Mr. Kerry to explain those charges. "
----
Of course not. They protect their own. Kerry is being packaged as an All-American boy in the mainstream. Not!!
HeraldNet: Jesus as an icon thrives in America: "There's black Jesus, and white Jesus. Homely and handsome, capitalist and socialist, stern and hippie. Hardworking social reformer, mystical comforter. "
---------
But the only real Jesus, the one who came to save His people from their sins is found only in the Gospel of the Scriptures. The New Testament warns us of following "another" Jesus, for even Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2Cor. 11:3,4: "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

There are some things that you better get right, and one of them is the doctrine of Jesus Christ: 2 John 1:9 "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son."

The trouble is, when men no longer believe the Scriptures, then their minds are blinded and they invent their own gods. They call their new gods by the name of their old gods, just as Israel did when Aaron made the golden calf: "This is the god that brought you out of Egypt." The calf wasn't Jehovah, of course, and these modern inventions are not Jesus. Just as Justin Pope said in the HeraldNet article: "Readers looking for the one true Jesus won't find him in two new books about Jesus in America. Instead, they will discover the extraordinary range of identities Jesus has assumed in American history and culture - in art, music, literature and more - over the past four centuries. " They won't find salvation either, for that doesn't come from following your own imagination.

Jeremiah 23:24-26 "Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;"
