BREITBART.COM - US stars align in anti-Iraq war hunger strike: "Some protestors and experts in public opinion put that down to the absence of the Vietnam War style conscription draft, which means only professional soldiers or reservists can be sent off to war. "
----------------------

Once in a while a glimmer of truth seeps out in spite of the bias of the main-stream media. The Viet Nam protests were not because of ideology or high ideals, but because of a generation that did not want to be inconvenienced or taken away from their lusts and pleasures. "Make love, not war," is the only creed that resonated with them. If there had been no draft, there would have been no protests and the blood bath directed by the communists could have been avoided. Sad. But they still think they were noble.
