A vehicle for venting on philosophy, religion, and the general state of things. Proprietor: C. W. Powell

Wednesday, March 10, 2004 "With about $214 million in hand through last weekend, there's no question 'Passion,' which Gibson made through his and Bruce Davey's Icon Productions, will gross north of $300 million in domestic theaters. In fact, for several reasons it seems quite likely to reach $350-400 million. "
That's just the down payment. Looks as if Gibson will make some five hundred million for himself after all expenses are paid. Just like the silversmiths of Diana of the Ephesians, making images of spiritual realities is very profitable. Gibson has it high spades over the silversmiths, however, because of the hi-tech and mass marketting.

Just musing.
