Excite News: "Sung, who has not been involved with the case, said of Cheshire that 'unfortunately his feelings, and possibly his religious beliefs, are affecting his medical decision.' The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity, which notes on its Web site that it was founded by Christian bioethicists, lists Cheshire as its director of biotech ethics."

And we certainly don't want any religious beliefs affecting our view of whether or not someone is alive now, do we.

O, Lord God. Have mercy upon the poor blind people of this once great nation that was once a moral light to the world. We rejected the moral and spiritual darkness of Europe once, and may we find the faith to do it again! Have mercy upon us!
