Pat Robertson: Sharon Feels 'God's Wrath': "Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for 'dividing God's land.'
'God considers this land to be his,' Robertson said on his TV program 'The 700 Club.' 'You read the Bible and he says 'This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, 'No, this is mine.''"

======================

Every time Pat Robertson opens his mouth he adds to the sum total of ignorance in the world. He is like the false prophets in Jeremiah's time, who pretended that they had sat in the counsel of God and knew the mind of God: Jeremiah 23:18: "For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?"

It is certain in general that God will and does judge the world, but true ministers are not so certain about the specific details. When Pat's time comes, what will he be being judged for?
