A vehicle for venting on philosophy, religion, and the general state of things. Proprietor: C. W. Powell

Jesus said that those who strain at gnats and swallow camels are "blind guides". It shows a lack of rationality not to be able to distinguish between things, for that is what the mind is for. Even a rabbit knows the difference between rocks and lettuce.

To equate those who try to stop kids from blowing up themselves and those who strap the bombs on the kids speaks of a moral and intellectual blindness that is truly frightening. It is the result of a blindness that is the direct result of the chastening of God, according to Romans 1. But then, this sort of blindness is not able even to recognize that the Bible is different from other books, cannot tell light from darkness.
Herbert London: The Big Lie: "The Big Lie is as prevalent in public life today as it was in Hitler’s Germany. So rash and irresponsible is European reporting about the Middle East that in a recent European Union poll Israel was regarded as the number one threat to world peace, ahead of Iran and North Korea."
