This is exactly why it will not ultimately succeed. It is an attempt to build a tower to heaven, to bring in a millenium of unity and peace. This denies the Cross of Christ, exalts man above God, denies the presence of evil and the necessity for conflict with it until the Lord God brings in everlasting peace through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. It will not succeed because the decree has already gone forth, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen!" How much blood has been shed, how much burning and raping and looting and murder and hatred has been foster by this harlot woman and the end is not yet!
