Judge Rejects Louisiana's Amendment Banning Same-Sex Marriage: "A state judge Tuesday threw out a Louisiana constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage that voters overwhelmingly approved on Sept. 18.

Judge William Morvant said the amendment was flawed as drawn up by the Legislature because it had more than one purpose: banning not only same-sex marriage but also civil unions. "

This shows the corruption of our court system, a corruption that will become more deep if Kerry gets to pick the next four Supreme Court Justices. On the grounds of having more than one purpose any provision or initiative can be thrown out by any court whatsoever. This priniciple is an assault upon our liberties--in the name of liberty for sodomites, would you believe?
